I chose the LUNARK, which was the 2021 Index Award Winner and its main idea comes is to create a first home on the moon. This, in my opinion, is a remarkable innovation to start on because I feel like it's a pre-emptive measure against the exponential population growth rate and probably sometime in the future, the Earth would be overpopulated by humans so some people might go to live on the moon. There is also a chance that the Earth becomes inhabitable because of insane amounts of pollution, so a lot of people would move on to the next celestial body. This project is an innovation, a major one, made for all of humankind, further improving our chance for survival as a species.
Interesting. I like to keep up to date on science and scientific developments, especially as a secular minded person. It sounds like the idea is still in a conceptual phase, but it's interesting to hear a little bit about. I had to design a moon base for an Astronomy class, and it wasn't easy! Interesting to hear a little bit more about that.
