Week 10

 Write a brief summary of the creative individual you studied for your report. What is something surprising or unexpected that you learned about creativity from this person’s life experiences?

Frida Kahlo was a disabled Mexican painter who worked on surreal paintings. She had multiple life tragedies that lead to her painting style. Something I did not expect that I learned from Kahlo's creative process was that she was a heavy alcoholic and drug addict and often times she would get intoxicated while working on her art. She feels like her best work happens when she is under some sort of drug influence.
